The P.E.A.C.E. homeschool group
The PEACE homeschool group is a network of families who are taking charge of their children's education together with the support of a teacher. We meet formally for 9 months of the year 3 days per week in our classroom space and informally at other times for special outings or other events.
PEACE proposes an alternative method of learning where, while being guided and supported by his tutors, his parents and his peers, the child is at the heart of his learning. Children and adults share their interests, their needs, their talents and their dreams through educational activities which emerge from themselves, from their day-to-day experiences and from the world in which they live. The principles of NonViolent Communication are an integral part of our program.

Workshops offered to homeschooling children
Homeschooling children can register for our workshops and join us for a half-day or a whole day of workshops. The themes of the workshops change with every session. We are meeting Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for 2008-09. Click here to enter the forum and see the schedule
